UK Met Police Expects To Handle 2-3 Officer Misconduct Trials Per Week


In the wake of a wave of allegations and investigations of sexual misconduct and corruption among the Metropolitan Police Service, the Greater London police see two to three officers face criminal trials weekly, Liz Jackson reports for BBC News. Each unit will be evaluated for “warning sings” of potential corruption. Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley said the Met created a corruption hotline that has received a notable number of reports.
