Los Angeles County to Implement CARE Court One Year Ahead of Schedule

Los Angeles County has announced that it will implement the CARE Court Act by December of this year, moving a full year ahead of schedule. As a result, California’s most populous county will join seven other counties implementing the act this year. Under CARE Court, the services for clients are supported by funding under the state’s $15.3 billion investment in addressing homelessness, which provides everything from housing to behavioral to health services.
