Harvey Weinstein will likely spend the rest of his life in prison. The former producer was found guilty of rape again on Monday, this time in Los Angeles. The 70-year-old is currently serving a 23-year prison sentence in New York on rape charges for the assault of other women, and will be sentenced in the Los Angeles case in early 2023, James Queally, Noah Goldberg and Richard Winton report for the Los Angeles Times.
Weinstein was convicted of forcible rape, forcible oral copulation and sexual penetration by a foreign object related to an attack of an Italian model in 2013. He faces up to 18 years in prison or, if prosecutors successfully convince jurors that aggravating factors were in play, up to 24 years.
